Privacy
What we know about your baby.
As little as possible. This page sets out exactly what is stored, where, and what never leaves your phone.

What stays on your iPhone
Every entry is written locally first. Rhythm analysis and insights use Apple Intelligence, which runs on the device: what it analyzes is not sent to any outside service, ours or anyone else's.
What syncs
If you invite the other parent, the entries for the shared baby sync through our servers so that both phones see the same thing. What is transmitted: the entries (kind, timestamp, values, note), the baby's first name and date of birth, and the first name you chose as a parent. Without an invitation, nothing syncs.
What we do not collect
- No advertising trackers, no advertising identifiers.
- No selling of data, to anyone, under any circumstances.
- No location, no address book, no photos.
Usage statistics
The app sends anonymous usage statistics via Firebase Analytics: which features are used, which screens are seen, which errors occur. Never the content of your entries, never your identity, no advertising identifier, no cross-app tracking.
Hosting
Synced data is hosted in the EU and encrypted in transit. Backups are kept for 14 days.
Your rights
You can export all of your data as CSV from the app, at any time and for free. Deleting your account erases your data from our servers; babies you share with another parent stay available to them. For any GDPR request, write to [email protected].
Children
BabyBib is used by adults, about their child. We do not create an account in a minor's name and we send them no messages.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date above is updated and a message appears in the app before it takes effect.
