For quoting
In one sentence
BabyBib is an independent French baby-tracking app that signs every bottle, nappy and night with the name of the parent who handled it, and shows how the care actually splits — from €1 a month for the whole family.
In one paragraph
BabyBib is an independent iOS app built in Paris for couples with a baby aged 0 to 18 months. Like the others it logs bottles, nursing, nappies, sleep and growth; unlike the others it also remembers who did what. Its "Together" card shows how care splits over seven days, nights included, with no ranking and no commentary. The written analyses are computed on the iPhone, so the baby's health data never goes online to be interpreted, and the data synced between the two parents is hosted in the European Union. Free up to 150 logged feeds, then €1 a month — or €24.99 once — for the whole family.
The angle
According to INSEE's time-use survey, roughly two thirds of parental time falls on mothers. Baby-tracking apps record everything about the baby — never who takes care of them.
BabyBib signs every entry with the parent who did it, and its "Together" card shows the split over the last 7 days: nights (10 pm – 6 am), feeds, diapers. No ranking, no "well done": the numbers speak, the app never judges.
And when only one parent logs, the card stays silent: BabyBib refuses to auto-generate a "you do everything". That conclusion belongs to the parents — not to an app.
While the market charges up to €18 a month to count bottles, BabyBib costs €1 a month for the whole family, with data that never leaves Europe. Baby tracking should not be a luxury.
What the app does
- BabyBib logs bottles, nursing, nappies, sleep, medication and growth in a single tap.
- Every entry is signed with the first name of the parent who made it, and syncs to the other parent in real time.
- The "Together" card shows how care splits over seven days, nights included — with no ranking and no congratulations.
- The written analyses are computed on the iPhone: the baby's health data does not go online to be interpreted.
- Growth charts follow the World Health Organization references, and a PDF report can be generated for the paediatrician.
- Data synced between the two parents is hosted in the European Union, with no advertising and no ad tracking.
Who is behind it
BabyBib is built in Paris by Romain Le Drogo, an independent developer, at Straw Technologies SARL. An Epitech graduate, he spent two years as a senior iOS developer at happn, taught for three years at Ada Tech School, and runs Sutom, the French daily word game played by hundreds of thousands. He is also co-founder and CTO of Blendi, a training platform for dental surgeons. BabyBib came out of his own experience as a new parent: no app could say which of the two of them got up at night. No investors, no data resale — the app is funded by its subscription.
